- Sri Lanka vanilla beans are rarer than Madagascar grade B vanilla beans and have a higher Vanillin content due to their unique curing process.
How to recognize high-quality vanilla beans
Smooth, creamy, and fragrant inherited vanilla scent.
Dark brown or black in hue, flexible, with a glossy, shiny, oily surface on the beans.
Simple to roll between your two fingers.
The bean shouldn’t break when a knot is tied, if it does it indicates that the bean is too dry.
• QUALITY ASSURANCE: Each of our cured vanilla beans is given a second inspection at our packing plant in Sri Lanka, where they are then vacuum sealed packaged to preserve optimum freshness in our resealable pouches.
• 100% NATURAL: Collected from farmers who practice organic cultivation. Processed and packed in a traditional way. Free from pesticides and other chemical impurities. Our natural vanilla beans do not contain any kind of artificial color, flavour, or preservative.
How to Store Vanilla Beans: Vanilla beans will dry up and become brittle if kept out of jar, so keep them sealed and store them in a cool, dark place.
